Urgh! Why do the bloody things have to do that? Such a disgusting and grotesque violation of someone's personal space.

I had a lingering chest infection/cough...after 3 lots of antis the pharmacist advised me to try some multi vitamins to boost my immune system.did the trick. Although at one point my head did fall off.

Re: Chest Infections
I had one for 3 monthe last year mate, well the cough lasted that long, mine probably had a bit to do with smoking but I was rough for ages. Not a cure, but a very good thing I found was a cup of Red Bush tea, and stick a lemon and honey Locket in with it, very soothing.

Best thing though, imo, is a healthy home made soup Chuck as mamy veggies in as you can, broccoli, carrots, peppers, can of tinned tomatoes, and the key, LOADS of cayenne pepper.

If that fails, put me on your will.

I had a 3 day course in the end which treated pneumonia... It made the most improvement compared to the other tablets but then the doc decided viral anyway... Blood test in the morning

Re: Chest Infections
I had two in quick succession around this time last year. Turned into pneumonia. Body went into meltdown and I went into anaphylaxis with hives and whatnot. I assume the allergic reaction was due to the chest infections because subsequent allergy testing for the two different types of ABs I was given drew a blank. I dunno, maybe it was the fever or something. The dermatologist's nurse said maybe it was unrelated to the chest infection/pneumonia, and it was a spider bite or something I ate. I have been left with dermographia after the allergic episode, which is possibly the most amusing 'ailment' anyone can have.

That was, No Anti biotics as viral

Re: Chest Infections
I had a nasty one last year, 3 weeks or more, BO anti-biotics as it was viral. As has been said can start to get worrying if it turns to Pneumonia as will hospitalise and well who knows, not nice.

I had the ears blocked, it's wax but if left can cause infection and even deafness. GP prescribed olive oil drops which was a waste of time, then tried ear candles which helped then Earex drops this will do the job.

Fuck yeah I forgot to mention that you have to cover your ears with small plastic bags. This increases the heat, activates the chemicals/yeast and stops you thinking you have literally shit out of your ears in the morning.

Surely you need to put something on the pillow otherwise it will be all brown in the morning making him think he shat himself and used his pillow to wipe in arse in the night?
